Why is the frontend community (and JS in general?) changing so much?
- Big names in the community are doing something else or went dark
- Advertisement
- Low quality influencers with their listicles
- Higher quality (eg. Remix folks) still feels like advertisement
- Flood of juniors as coding becomes popular
- Web is the most popular domain and the easiest to get into
- Less mainstream areas require more skill to get into
Is this affecting all software communities? Or only the bigger, more mainstream ones (eg. JS/Java/Ruby/Python)?
Has this happen before in other industries when they became mainstream?

#counterargument Could this be a case of Rosy retrospection, A.K.A. the old times were better?
